Minimiser bras aren’t the constrictive objects of torture that I used to believe they were, it turns out they are actually supremely comfortable and a true feat of modern engineering.
The job of the minimizer bra is pretty self-explanatory – it reduces the visible size of your bust by firmly redistributing the breast tissue. It does this in such a way that prevents the underwire from digging in and the breast from bulging out elsewhere – magical indeed.
Firm support without the discomfort
A plus size minimiser bra obviously provides quite firm support and is a blessing if you’re finding your breasts are getting in the way and not fitting in your clothes the way you’d like.
Button up shirts and blouses are less of a struggle when worn with a minimiser bra, as the outward profile of the breast is reduced, you won’t have to fear the dreaded pull on the fabric, or have to resort to larger ill-fitting tops in order to accommodate a larger bust as you might have with other plus size bras.
