International Bra Size Conversion Chart

by Plus Size Bra Shopper

Bra sizes, as with most women’s clothing, tend to vary sometimes greatly between manufacturers and countries of origin. Some websites and retailers provide online calculators to help you find out what size bra is the right one for you. But the margin for error with these calculators is just too great, so rather than provide you with a half-baked bra size calculator, we’re more than happy to recommend a far more reliable, albeit old-fashioned method – Going to your nearest lingerie store and getting a proper professional fitting.

Never Fear – A bra fitting can be a life saver!

You don’t have to be frightened of getting a bra fitting in person, depending on how you’re dressed, they may even be able to size you over your clothes. But you shouldn’t be embarrassed anyways, we all have our body issues and not-so-attractive plus size bras, but it really is in your best interests to shelve your issues for a brief while, if only to avoid the ongoing discomfort of a poorly fitted bra.

We can however provide you with a bra size conversion chart which makes it so much easier if you’re buying overseas or the brands you’re wanting are made internationally. Of course we can’t claim that these conversion charts will be 100% accurate in all cases. It’s really important when shopping online for bras that you double check the size charts and guides offered by the merchants. There may be size variations that you’re not aware of, plus other buyers may have left reviews about the sizing to help you make a more sound choice.
